DR. HAMED TAVAKOLI
Managing Director | Director-Urban Design
Hamed is a distinguished professional in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, renowned for his expertise in creating socially and environmentally sustainable projects. Proficient in design, project management, and BIM modeling, he tailors generative designs to site-specific needs. Hamed imparts his knowledge through teaching at Adelaide and Melbourne Universities, covering areas like computational design and socio-spatial vulnerability. He’s a key figure in the Affordable Sustainable Housing Program, aiming to make sustainable housing more accessible in Australia.
DR. ARMIN MEHDIPOUR
Director-Urban Planning
Armin Mehdipour, an urban planner with an esteemed international background, holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Adelaide. His specialization in Urban Planning and Governance is evident through his notable research, particularly his thesis on Brownfield Regeneration. He has contributed significantly to projects like the ‘Street Tree Database and Tool for Greater Adelaide’ and ‘Regeneration of Post-industrial Areas in Australasia.’ Armin’s expertise and international experience position him as a standout Planning Principal at Meso Space.
DR. MINA ROUHOLLAHI
Director-Architecture & Environmental Design
Mina is an accomplished Architect and environmental scientist with expertise in project management and stakeholder engagement. Her leadership fosters collaboration effectively. Research with the University of South Australia focuses on integrating Australian NCC and urban policies for socio-environmental design, emphasizing mathematical modeling and building-energy simulations. With over 15 years of experience, she has overseen diverse projects in architecture, landscape design, urban planning, and policy work, extending her contributions nationally and internationally in energy-building modeling.

Director-Landscape Architecture
Hoda is a highly accomplished Principal Landscape Architect with a diverse and extensive background in socio-environmentally informed approaches to her work. Her impressive journey began with academic excellence, earning a Master of Landscape Architecture from Hochschule Anhalt. With a solid foundation in both architecture and landscape design, she embarked on a dynamic career that has taken her across the globe, from Tokyo, Japan, to Melbourne, Australia. With a career spanning over a decade, Hoda’s expertise is underscored by her hands-on experience, creativity, and unwavering dedication to creating vibrant, sustainable, and innovative urban environments that prioritize the well-being of communities and the environment.

Director- Public Art and Wayfinding
Sarah Abooali, a holder of a Ph.D. in architecture from the University of Adelaide, boasts a multifaceted background as an Urban Art and Wayfinding expert. Her profile features a distinctive blend of design acumen and extensive research in the realms of fine and urban art. Sarah excels in utilizing multimedia and digital tools to create compelling interactions with audiences. Her practical experience in architecture, painting, sculpture, and signage further enriches her capability to metamorphose urban landscapes into visually enchanting and accessible environments.
MASSI BAHARLOO
Associate Designer
Massi, a dedicated Landscape and Urban Designer, prioritizes sustainable design, green infrastructure, and public spaces from concept to completion. With experience in both local government and private practices, she brings innovative solutions to urban environments. Massi excels in teamwork, project management, and design excellence culture, supported by proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp. Her passion for diverse design areas enables effective project management across residential, educational, transportation, public, and environmental domains.
FARISA N. FROTANI
Building Designer – Architectural Technician
Farisa is a seasoned Building Designer and Architectural Technician, proficient in Revit and Enduro CAD. She excels in creating detailed plans that comply with Australian building codes. Her experience and education have fostered a deep understanding of architecture’s impact on mental health, as evidenced by her publication in the Middle Eastern Journal of Disability Studies. Farisa is driven by sustainable design, reflecting her commitment to environmentally responsible architecture. She collaborates effectively with teams, ensuring precision and efficiency through project phases. Her expertise includes 3D rendering and energy efficiency assessments, crucial skills that support Meso Space’s pursuit of innovative and sustainable building solutions.

Maria is an experienced Architectural Engineer and BIM Lead with a 7-year track record in the industry. Computational Designer – Architect
Zahra holds a master’s degree in Architectural Technology with a specialization in Digital Architecture. As a seasoned Computational Designer, she possesses deep expertise in parametric design, excelling in developing generative solutions through complex algorithms that translate into practical, innovative projects. She has collaborated with renowned international firms, including Parametric House and Kinetica in Mexico, contributing to numerous high-profile developments. Zahra’s advanced coding skills enable her to create sophisticated algorithms in Rhino-Grasshopper for kinetic facades, tensile structures, parametric towers, bridges, and buildings with evolutionary designs. She continues to push the boundaries of architectural design as an avant-garde practitioner, achieving sustainability in complex projects.
DR. GELAREH HOLDEN
Principal Researcher and Data Analyst
Dr. Gelareh Holden is a renowned principal researcher and data analyst specializing in placemaking, tourism, and event management. Her work focuses particularly on community capacity building, heritage, and the psychological aspects of placemaking and city branding. Her extensive body of research, which includes studies on the development of tourism in heritage villages, the impact of destination attributes on tourist satisfaction, and the operationalization of psychological distance in tourism, has significantly advanced the understanding of how cultural and psychological factors shape tourism dynamics.
